Using Language to Achieve a Leadership Purpose
Leaders spend about 70% of their time communicating to some form of an audience. Leaders use language to influence their intended listener. It is essential for leaders to project a positive tone when speaking or in their writing. To accomplish this task the leader must be confident in all aspects. They must be knowledgeable, assertive, and humble. Having a peaceful tone, style, and mannerism will assist the leader in getting their messages across with little interference.
